Happy 4th of the July! How has your summer been going so far? Have you traveled anywhere exotic or fun? If you are planning a trip or have already gone somewhere, make sure you document your travels. We don’t mean just snapping a few photos on your iPhone, we’re talking about creating a unique canvas.

A canvas can allow you to get as creative you’d like. It is very similar to creating a scrapbook, in that you add all types of colors, embellishments, and images. To inspire you to create your own canvas this summer, check out this project designed by Julie Lewis. This canvas combines painting and decoupaging, to make an inspirational and fun statement about travel. A list of supplies and the instructions to create this project can be found below. Where have you traveled, or plan to travel to this summer? We’d love to know.
